ESA 7th Earth explorer core mission phase A studies
PREMIER project - Short description
PREMIER (PRocess Exploration through Measurements of Infrared and millimetrewave emitted Radiation) is a satellite mission proposed as an ESA Earth explorer core mission by KIT(IMK-ASF) together with other German and European institutions. The proposal was recommended by ESA’s Earth Science Advisory Committee and was accepted by the Programme Board for Earth Observation as one of six to be assessed in phase 0 system studies. Out of those PREMIER was selected as one of three missions to be studied at phase A level.
PREMIER was not selected for EE7 at the User Consultation Meeting in March 2013.
