ENVRINNOV Project

Objective of the EU project ENVRINNOV is to design, test, and optimize a suite of different tools to foster innovation within the European infrastructures in the environmental domain (ENVRI). These tools will be provided as well-described blueprints via an ENVRI Innovation Hub (EIH) for the future development of new technologies and services by many kinds of addressed users.

Our task is to develop a concept called “Tech-Boost innovation pipeline” to accelerate and optimize the joint development of new products (instrumentation) together with the industry, in three phases:

  • In the “definition phase”, all technical requirements for the industrial partner shall by defined by the ENVRI customer.
  • In the “development phase”, the new technology is developed in close cooperation via intensive technology transfer and
  • In the “verification phase” (phase 3), the new technology is tested in the field and (if required) in reference laboratories.

Objective of Tech-Boost is to accelerate and optimize the development of new commercial “fit-for-purpose” (in other words ENVRI-optimized) instrumentation.
