Regional trends of stratospheric ozone

Ozone trends from 2003 to 2018 are shown for various altitudes, latitudinally and longitudinally resolved. Asterisk symbols denote statistically significant trend values. Data from GOMOS, SCIAMACHY, MIPAS, OSIRIS, OMPS and MLS have been used for this study. This work has been published in Atmos. Chem. Phys.

Trend studies based on satellite data usually focus on zonal mean trends. The large amount of data and excellent global coverage allow to resolve trends longitudinally. The trend analysis was based on a de-seasonalized merged data set.
