The error budget of OMPS stratospheric ozone measurements

Within the framework of the IMK-ASF-coordinated SPARC Activity "Towards Unified Error Reporting (TUNER)" a comprehensiveerror budget has been provided for OMPS limb scatter ozone profiles. The contributions of the most important error components are shown for a tropical atmosphere (a) and for a high latitude summer atmosphere (b). The University of Bremen group analyzed the uncertainties for various latitudes and seasons. Also the correlations between various error sources were analyzed.
